Higher Life Forms

This Three in one CD has hundreds of live videos of organisms you might see in your system. This CD has over 650 digital microscopic videos of organisms found under the microscope. Ranging from 10 seconds to one minute videos taken from wastewater and pond samples all around the world. It is one thing to read about it in a book, another to see examples and videos of actual organisms using different magnifications.  40x, 100x, 400x and 1000x illuminations are used.  Bright Field, dark, phase contrast, and inverted images give you a look at these organisms from all sizes and lighting. Gram, Neisser and India Ink stains as well as some Lactophenol Cotton Blue stains may be used on some photos. Tip sheet on how to take your own photos is also included. Filamentous Identification

Basic training on how to perform Filamentous identification. The CD contains basic staining, how to use the microscope, individual sheets on each filament. A worksheet to use in the lab and guide on different organisms. Over 4000 color photos of each type of filament, Gram, Neisser, wet mount, phase, Dark field, Lactophenol Cotton blue, etc. Various examples of conditions found in plants, types of floc, weak, diffuse, open, lacy, firm, compact, etc. Chlorination, causes and controls.
