Lab Services:

Filamentous Identification Lab Service. One reason to identify filaments is to determine the filaments characteristics and then determine the type present. If the type is found out, a root cause can usually be associated with a particular filament. If the cause is known, then a correction can be made to alleviate problems. Chlorination is only a quick fix. Without process changes, filaments will grow back after chlorination.

BIOAUGMENTATION APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS

Liquid Bioaugmentation for Municipalities & Industry

Typical dosing is based upon flow times loading. For Aeration basin, 1 lb of product for a typical flow of 1 MGD and normal BOD of 2-300. As flow increases or decreases, adjust dosage, same with BOD loading. We have created a dosing wizard where you plug in the flow and loading and it helps calculate dosing program. Also consider a dual program, twice as much activity is achieved with the addition of micronutrients, for ½ the cost.
