They can be Kraft mills, bleach mills, pulp mills,specialty or 100% recycle.
They can be very old paper mills, or have the latest, state of the art technology on the process side as well as the wastewater side. Some pre-treat and discharge to a local POTW and some have final effluent permits.
It is amazing to see how they take all the old paper and cardboard, grind it up and make new clean paper or cardboard sheets
